Position Title : Service Desk Analyst

Location : Mississauga

Job Description :
The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for handling service desk calls, triage and routing of technical support issues and the repair of Printers / Desktops / Laptop in house and at customer locations. The Service Desk Analyst will also provide technical assistance to local sales team on the supported products. The successful candidate has the ability to resolve difficult technical problems, has a strong work ethic and excellent customer relation skills. The qualified candidate will work independently and has the means to travel to customer sites with the goal of troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues. This is a full-time position.

Roles and Responsibilities :
1.Supply superior service by maintaining and repairing Hardware devices at customer locations or in- house
2.Assist customers as a member of the Service Desk team while in office
3.Help local sales team with technical questions and customer satisfaction issues
4.Install printers/desktop/laptops at customer locations, as requested by the Dispatch Team
5.Troubleshoot Hardware and Network problems and determine most cost-effective method of executing
6.Complete tickets and documentation quickly and professionally on all customer support issues
7.Ability to lift approx. 50 lbs.
8.Good knowledge of product from HP, IBM, Lenovo and Dell.
9.On Call availability 24*7
10.May some time’s need to work in weekends.
11.Any shift timings between 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM

Qualification :
The ideal Candidate will possess the following qualifications:
•Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience repairing Desktops, Laptops and Printers.
•Must have previous Field Service experience
•Needs a valid driver’s license (competitive mileage reimbursement)
•Must be responsible , able to work autonomously and is highly motivated
•Must be able to work in a team environment and can proactively assist others
•Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
•Must have professional customer service skills
•Must have excellent time management skills
•Excellent presentation and teaching skills
•Microsoft certifications an asset
•Computer networking skills
•Willing to be available during out of business office hours/weekends.
In addition to the above, preferences will be made to the candidate that possesses some or all of the following “nice to have” qualifications in addition to those listed above:
•Proficiency in MS Office
•A+ certification an asset
•post-secondary education required or equivalent, preferably degree in Computers
